In 1932, his great-grandfather King George V gave the first radio Christmas speech, followed by his grandpa in 1937. Queen Elizabeth delivered the first televised Christmas greeting in 1957.

As expected he mentioned his late Mother Queen Elizabeth and how Christmas is a really poignant time to remember family we have lost.
He went on to describe his faith and how powerful it was to visit Bethlehem and be at the spot where Jesus was born.
“Whilst Christmas is indeed a Christian Celebration the power of light overcoming darkness is celebrated across the boundaries of faith and belief, so whatever faith you have, or if you have none, it is in this life giving light and with the true humility that lies in our service to others that I believe we can find hope for the future”
