PETALING JAYA: Kiky, one of Najib Razak’s cats, is back on social media just in time for her owner’s birthday on Monday (July 23).
“Waiting for papa to come down for breakfast, want to peluk manja (pamper with a hug), today is the birthday of papa @najib_razak!” read the post, which was made around 8am.
The admin of the account had also tagged the former prime minister on the post, which has garnered nearly 2,000 likes and over 180 comments at time of writing.
Pakatan Harapan swept into power in GE14, ending the more than 60-year rule by Barisan.
In the time since, Kiky’s Instagram account has undergone a name change to @kikytamanduta, which may be a reference to the cat’s current residence at Jalan Langgak Duta, Kuala Lumpur.
A search for the original @kikyseriperdana handle currently shows a locked private account.
