IndiGo Airlines and U-Tapao to boost tourism

IndiGo Airlines, India’s largest passenger airline, sent a high-level delegation to U-Tapao Pattaya-Rayong International Airport on Friday, December 15, to discuss potential collaborations and partnerships. The visit aimed to enhance services for international tourists, particularly those from the Indian subcontinent.

Led by Navaid Desai, General Manager of Customer Relations at IndiGo Airlines, and accompanied by Thai Deputy Consul Natsuda Mettaprasert, the delegation engaged in talks with the airport director and local tourism authorities. They explored avenues for improved air travel services and joint initiatives to attract Indian tourists to the vibrant Pattaya region.

The discussions emphasized the importance of collaboration to enhance the overall tourism experience and connectivity between India and Thailand. The visit was regarded as a positive step toward fostering international partnerships and boosting tourism and economic activities in the Rayong and Pattaya areas. The airport continues to seek opportunities to collaborate with airlines and stakeholders to further promote the region as a preferred destination for travelers.
