Indian Man Injured in Violent Altercation with Girlfriend at Pattaya Apartment

A 43-year-old Indian national sustained serious injuries following a violent altercation with his Thai girlfriend at their apartment in Pattaya. The incident, which occurred shortly after midnight on April 14, involved a broken beer bottle and resulted in stab wounds to the man’s chest and arm.

Emergency services responded to a call at an apartment complex in Soi Kromtheedin 6, Nong Prue, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri province. Upon arrival, rescuers discovered the injured man bleeding heavily and visibly distressed. He had reportedly run through the building in a panic, leaving a trail of blood before encountering police and pleading for help.

Volunteers from a local rescue team provided immediate first aid before transporting him to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.

Altercation During Drinking Session

The suspect, identified as Mod, a 29-year-old Thai woman, told authorities she was the injured man’s girlfriend and also managed his apartment property. She stated that the two had been drinking beer together when a heated argument escalated.

Mod alleged that her boyfriend pulled her hair and hit her with a bottle, prompting her to defend herself. During the scuffle, the beer bottle broke, and Mod reportedly used a sharp edge of the broken glass to stab him.

Following the incident, she attempted to call him back as he fled, but he continued running until the police arrived.

Ongoing Investigation

Pattaya City Police have taken Mod into custody for questioning and are reviewing CCTV footage to establish the sequence of events. Authorities are awaiting a statement from the injured man once his medical condition stabilizes to ensure a balanced and fair investigation.

The case remains under active investigation as police work to determine whether charges will be filed.
