His Majesty King Rama X will arrange meals and stage performances to thank participants in the successful mission to rescue 13 footballers from the flooded Tham Luang cave complex in Chiang Rai’s Mae Sai district, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said today (Wednesday).
Government agencies would discuss the details, Prayut said, adding that the main feast would be held in Bangkok along with some smaller-scale events in other provinces for the participants who could not make it to the capital.
Prayut told the media at Impact Muangthong Thani hall that representatives of the 13 footballers would give an interview on the Thailand Moves Forward programme today. It was reported that the boys would be asked questions pre-selected from lists submitted by news agencies.
