Fireworks Night Police Focus on Safety and Security

Pol. Maj. Gen. Thawatkiat Jindakornsanong, Commander of the Chonburi Provincial Police, together with relevant officials, conducted an inspection of security measures for the upcoming Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2024. The event, set to take place on November 29th and 30th along Pattaya Beach, is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of visitors. Local authorities have implemented extensive safety and traffic management plans, deploying a total of 800 personnel, including 500 police officers and 300 staff members from various agencies such as Banglamung District, Pattaya Tourist Police, and city volunteers. To alleviate traffic congestion, parking facilities and shuttle bus services will be provided. Parents are encouraged to closely supervise their children and ensure that they carry contact information. Additionally, a designated emergency lane has been established for medical emergencies. These measures aim to ensure the safety and convenience of all event-goers.
