The suspect, identified as Ms. Naranya Areepong, 20, was apprehended at Makro supermarket in Sattahip for stealing two bottles of alcohol at 10:30 AM on the same day. While being processed by police officers at the station, she requested to use the phone to contact her family. Ms. Naranya then fled from custody with the help of a man identified only as Nit.
The man had short gold hair and a mustache, and was wearing a black short-sleeved shirt and green shorts. The two were captured on CCTV cameras escaping on a motorbike and heading towards Pattaya. Police are urging anyone with information about the suspects’ whereabouts to contact Sattahip Police Station at 038-438183 or the national police hotline at 191.
