    While you may save a couple of dollars buying it’s not much use if you don’t live to spend it. Owning property has an uncanny relationship to your likelihood of leaping from a building in the “Land Of Strange Suicides”. Thanks, but I’ll stick to renting.

    ‘Rent to buy’?? One thing this ‘article’, or should I have said advertisement, fails to mention is the fact that foreigners are unable to own land and even owning a condo has strict specifics attached to any deal.
    Who will ultimately take ownership of any property?
    Will the goalposts change, just prior to your super convenient ‘rent to buy’ contract matures??
    Will the developer go bust mid term, ownership changes and new owners no longer want sitting tennents???
    There are thousands of empty condo units all over the Pattaya area yet development continues unabated. Deals such as this always to me look like desperation on the part of those peddling them, and this particular one looks just like the start of a race to the bottom.

    Too many questions and uncertainties here, and for certain this wasteland is far too unstable, insular and retarded for any sane person to contemplate entering into any long term investment deal, particularly one relating to property.
