Drunk Man goes on Rampage

Police arrested a Thai man who went on a drunken rampage and destroyed property in a Sattahip neighborhood early Sunday morning, June 2nd.

At 1:30 AM, Mr. Pornpitak Prajongsin, the headman of Village 3, was informed of a man in a state of rage causing a commotion in Village 6, Bangsaray sub-district, Sattahip district, Chonburi province. The man was destroying property, prompting the headman to contact the Sattahip police for assistance.

Upon arrival at the scene, authorities found the agitated man walking around the alleyway. As they approached to apprehend him, he resisted and spat on them. Fortunately, police officers managed to subdue him and take him into custody without injuries. The suspect, later identified as 27-year-old Mr. Natthapong Thapwan, was transported to the Sattahip Police Station to calm down and undergo drug testing. According to eyewitnesses, Mr. Natthapong, who appeared intoxicated, reportedly attempted to break into a woman’s house while she was taking a shower. When she screamed, he began damaging property.

The suspect remains in custody.
