Pattaya City is preparing to co-host the Chonburi International Music Festival in the Rain this September at Pattaya Beach. On Thursday, August 22nd, 2024, a meeting was held at Pattaya City Hall, led by Pattaya Mayor Mr. Poramase Ngampiches, to plan the festival’s organization.
Mr. Poramase shared that the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched a project to promote tourism across five of Thailand’s most popular provinces under the theme “Thai Charms Festival.” This initiative aims to attract both domestic and international tourists, encouraging them to explore different regions, leading to longer stays and increased spending. Given Pattaya’s popularity, the TAT has invited the city to co-host the “Chonburi International Music Festival in the Rain,” set for September 20th to 22nd and September 27th, 2024, at Pattaya Beach. The festival will showcase renowned pop, rock, and R&B artists across three stages, including a pop stage, a jazz stage, and a dance stage. The event will also feature seafood vendors and a variety of other engaging activities.
