PARIS has experienced a major power cut this morning as the majority of the French capital suffers from a huge power outage.
The power outage has struck must of Paris this morning, and experts fear the power may not be turned back on until later this afternoon.
The areas impacted by the blackout include Montreuil, Paris 19, Paris 20, Les Lilas, Rosny, Vincennes, Romainville, Bagnolet.
People quickly turned to Twitter to discuss the loss in power, with one person asking whether it was the “apocalypse”.
The user wrote: “Major power cut at home for 10min and I watch on Twitter and apparently it’s all Paris ?? Is this the apocalypse.”
Another person said: “My EDF colleague who tells me that it looks bad for the power outage and that in his opinion it may last a good halfday.”Website
