In Kanchanaburi province’s Si Sawat district, a double-decker bus overturned on a road on Saturday, leaving at least two passengers dead and about 30 others hurt.
After the collision, a number of people were trapped inside the bus, and the emergency services had to use power tools to free them.
Following a research trip to Kanchanaburi, about 60 people from the Ang Thong province were returning home when the accident occurred on a hairpin bend. The car’s driver appears to have lost control, crashed into a roadside barrier, then overturned.
Police say they will question the driver to determine the precise reason for the collision.
