Bt150,000 worth of assets stolen from Pattaya condo

A German man and his Thai wife filed a complaint with police early on Wednesday that cash and valuables worth Bt150,000 were stolen from their Pattaya condominium room on Tuesday night.

The couple filed a complaint with a patrol police officer from the Pattaya police station at 1.30am, saying that the theft took place in their room at the C Building of the Diamond Suites Resort and Condominium in Tambon Nong Plue of Chon Buri’s Bang Lamung district.

The wife, Mayuree Wawosheck, 46, told police that they went out for dinner with their daughter and nephew, and returned to find that the room had been ransacked and a safe box had disappeared.

She said gold ornaments worth Bt77,000, and 1,750 euros (about Bt66,400) in cash were in the box. She also lost a handbag worth Bt6,650.
