British Expat Rescued From Condo Jump
A British expat with depression was rescued by Pattaya police and rescue teams after attempting to jump from an 11th-floor balcony .
Pattaya police received a report about a foreigner threatening to jump from a high-rise building in the Jomtien area. The police immediately coordinated with rescue services and rushed to the scene.

Upon arrival, authorities found a British man, aged around 60-70, standing on an 11th-floor balcony that lacked a safety railing. The officers tried to convince him to come back inside, but he ignored their pleas and remained on the ledge. Seizing an opportunity when the man was momentarily distracted, the police and rescue team acted quickly to pull him back inside the building through a window, ensuring his safety.

Mr. Sak, a 37-year-old security guard at the condominium, explained that a resident had alerted him about the foreigner standing on the balcony as though about to jump. He rushed to check on the situation and immediately contacted the authorities for assistance. It was revealed that the man had attempted to jump from the same building on two previous occasions, with Mr. Sak having saved him during one of those incidents.
