Belgian actor arrested in Bangkok with no passport

A Belgian actor was arrested in Bangkok after living in the country for 4 years with no passport. Immigration Police received information about a good looking European man that speaks Thai fluently with no passport. The man has been living in an apartment at Wang Thonglang District, Bangkok. Officials started an investigation and discovered that the man has been living in a specific apartment for over 4 years. Other residents report that the man often brings in Thai women to live with him, most of the time never the same woman. He didn’t seem to have a job either. When enough evidence was collected officials went to inspect the room.

Prima 49 years old from Belgium did not have information showing him entering the Kingdom. When officials checked the biometrics system, Prima was arrested for forgery in 1999 (20 years ago). As a result, his name was in the blacklist meaning that he could not enter the country. Prima stated that after he was deported back to Belgium he attempted to fly into Suvarnabhumi Airport in 2014 but was denied entrance by Immigration officials at the airport. Instead of returning to Belgium, Prima flew to Myanmar then to Cambodia. He then entered the Kingdom through natural passageways.

While living in Thailand Prima was contacted by a talent agent as he could speak Thai fluently. Prima has acted in drama series and movies as supporting roles. Prima is an extrovert, can speak Thai, and loves acting, this has helped him find many roles in the Thai film industry. When there is a drama series requiring a foreign actor, most of the time Prima is contacted to be a part of the production. Immigration Police have arrested the actor with charges relating to entering the Kingdom without permission. The suspect is now at the Wang Thonglang Police Station waiting for prosecution.
