Thalang District police in Phuket yesterday (Nov 23, 2019) issued an arrest warrant for the owner of a construction company responsible for the collapse of a building under construction in the southern province, the Thai-language daily Matichon reported.
Seven Myanmar workers were killed and two injured when the one-story building collapsed.
Police have interrogated construction engineers and charges were filed against them for negligence in the construction project.
