Pattaya police are currently investigating the death of a 69-year-old British man who fell from a fourth-floor hotel window on Sunday morning. The incident took place at around 2:00 AM on February 4th at a hotel located on Soi Buakhao.
The victim, whose name has been withheld pending family notification, was found on the hotel grounds with severe injuries after falling from the fourth floor. Despite receiving immediate medical attention from rescue personnel, he unfortunately passed away upon arrival at a local hospital.
Preliminary investigations by Pattaya police have not revealed any evidence of foul play inside the victim’s room. However, the exact cause of the incident is yet to be determined.
The victim’s body is currently at the hospital where it will undergo further procedures and arrangements in accordance with the family’s religious customs. The embassy will also be contacted to ensure necessary support is provided.
