3 Killed in a hit and run accident in Sri Racha

After a hit-and-run truck driver struck a motorbike in Sri Racha, three individuals were declared dead at the spot.

On Saturday morning around daybreak (June 10), the Nong Kham sub-district accident was reported to the Nong Kham Police in Sri Racha. A damaged motorcycle was laying on the road when first responders and police arrived at the crossroads. Rescue workers nearby discovered three bodies: a male and two women. There were no identity papers discovered with them. One other individual had suffered critical wounds and was taken urgently to a nearby hospital.

Police were informed by witnesses that a truck struck a motorcycle unexpectedly, but the truck did not stop. However, police are investigating surrounding CCTV footage to determine the precise reason for the collision and to try to identify the hit-and-run driver. Four persons were riding on one motorbike, which was overcrowded, according to law enforcement.

The survivor was unable to be interviewed owing to his injuries, but as of the time of publication, he was still in a hospital and in a serious but stable condition.
