2025 MotoGP Launch Schedule: Key Dates for Team Reveals

As anticipation builds for the 2025 MotoGP season, teams are set to unveil their new bike designs leading up to the opening round in Buriram, Thailand, on March 2.

All 11 teams will reveal their machines over January and February, culminating in a season launch event in Bangkok on February 9.

Trackhouse

Launch Date: 14 January
The first team to reveal its 2025 MotoGP bike will be Trackhouse. After a successful debut season, the American team boasts an exciting lineup with reigning Moto2 champion Ai Ogura and Raul Fernandez. Following a new partnership with Gulf Oil, fans can expect a bold new look.

Aprilia Racing

Launch Date: 16 January
April’s launch, scheduled for Milan, will unveil their 2025-spec RS-GP bike. With a fresh rider lineup featuring reigning champion Jorge Martín and Marco Bezzecchi, Aprilia aims to continue its ascent on the MotoGP grid.

Gresini Ducati

Launch Date: 18 January
Gresini will showcase its 2025 bike at an event in Imola. This season, Álex Márquez will be partnered with Moto2 star Fermín Aldeguer, as both riders race on Ducati machinery.

Ducati Lenovo Team

Launch Date: 20 January
Ducati’s launch at the Madonna di Campiglio ski resort promises a multi-day event featuring eight-time champion Marc Márquez in the factory team gear. The partnership between Márquez and Francesco Bagnaia will be keenly watched this season.

VR46 Ducati

Launch Date: 25 January
Valentino Rossi’s VR46 team will reveal its 2025 bikes in Jakarta, home to title sponsor Pertamina. Franco Morbidelli will be joined by Fabio Di Giannantonio on Ducati machinery.

KTM

Launch Date: 30 January
Despite financial challenges, KTM will progress with its 2025 campaign, revealing its bike at Sepang. Rookie star Pedro Acosta moves up to the factory team alongside Brad Binder.

Tech3 KTM

Launch Date: 30 January
Sharing a launch event with KTM, Tech3 will present a revamped GasGas livery, introducing Enea Bastianini and Maverick Viñales to their new lineup.

Yamaha Factory Racing

Launch Date: 31 January
After a challenging 2024 season, Yamaha will launch their 2025 M1 at Kuala Lumpur’s W Hotel, following the Sepang shakedown test.

Pramac Yamaha

Launch Date: 31 January
After departing from Ducati, Pramac will reveal its new lineup featuring Miguel Oliveira and Jack Miller at Yamaha’s Kuala Lumpur event.

Honda

Launch Date: 1 February
Honda will reveal a new look following the end of its 30-year partnership with Repsol. With new sponsor Castrol, the RC213Vs will be unveiled in Jakarta with riders Joan Mir and Luca Marini.

LCR

Launch Date: 8 February
One day after the Sepang test, LCR will present its 2025 bikes, likely featuring a split livery for Johann Zarco and rookie Somkiat Chantra.

2025 MotoGP Season Launch

Date: 9 February
Following the team reveals, an official launch for the MotoGP championship will take place in Bangkok with all 22 riders present. The event will include a display of the 2025 bikes and will be accessible for fans in Bangkok as well as streamed live worldwide.
