17 Dead, Over 40 Injured as Field Trip Bus Overturns in Prachin Buri
A tragic bus accident in Prachin Buri’s Na Di district claimed the lives of 17 people and left over 40 injured when an educational field trip bus overturned while descending Khao San Tone mountain early Wednesday morning.
The accident occurred around 4 AM on Highway 304, as the tour bus from Bueng Kan’s Phon Charoen district lost control on a curve during its journey to Rayong province. The bus overturned and was completely wrecked.
Rescue teams rushed the injured passengers to Nadi Hospital and Kabinburi Hospital for medical treatment. Authorities are currently clearing the road to restore traffic flow, while an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.
